To hear the words of Jesus creates an unexplainable sensation in our hearts.
When Jesus spoke every word came from his Father.
At times we feel our hearts burning.

John 14:27-28 Jesus said “I am leaving you with a gift the world cannot give. I will come back to YOU.”
The storm was powerful but his eyes were on Jesus.
He took his eyes off of Jesus to view the storm, and he began to sink.
Then he called out the most powerful word in the world.
Our storms are coming and when they come, what name will you call?

Father thank you for the promise to send us the Helper.
Our lives are blessed with power just by remembering the truth of your promise.
We pray for your help in our time of testing.
Today we promise to give trouble, cares, and worries to Jesus.

For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.
People came to Jesus to hear his wisdom. They heard but not all listened.
Those that listened changed their hearts and their ways.
Jesus made a Promise to you and he’s waiting for you when you are ready.

Jesus said “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
When God is our source of light we have no fear.
The world’s darkness raises fear and spiritual blindness.
The good news is the Light God sent to take away our fear and our spiritual blindness.

Meditate on the words of Jesus and pray.

When we make God more important than worldly things, He gives us the ability to understand His Son.
Jesus said “blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.”

When we obey God’s commands we ultimately see changes in our thoughts, in our actions, and in our understanding.
For Godly wisdom is found in obedience.
The wisdom of God- His word, His work, His ways, His will.

When we allow ourself worry, we give our power to the evil one who is disrupting the energy from the Holy Spirit. Evil blinds us with fear and worry. Put your trust in God’s Word through daily meditation and prayer.
